TikTok users in the US may not be ready to embrace shopping on the platform, as was the case in the UK, where sales fell short of TikTok’s forecasts. That’s because, as Megan McCluskey notes for Time , shopping via livestreams hasn’t reached mass adoption in the US. “American consumers aren’t used to shopping this way.”
