What is the Certifies Sender Alliance and what does it aim for?
The objective of the CSA is to improve the quality of email as a means of advertising and communication by creating and maintaining a whitelist of mass mailing senders, which is shared with the main ISPs (Internet Service Providers) and ESPs (Email Service Providers).

While in 2018, nearly 280 billion emails were sent every day using the Email Marketing technique, in 2022 there will be no less than 333 billion emails sent every day!

Secondly, there is, as it could not be otherwise, the trend that revolves around the need for personalization and individualization of content: users must have the feeling, at all times, that they are receiving content via email, which is addressed directly to them, and that it is not a "common" message. While it is true that, from the point of view of brands, personalized attention is, in a certain way, totally inaccessible, the use and utilization of automation tools that allow personalized attention is feasible.

On the other hand, we have a new trend that will be followed by Email Marketing, which is about encouraging interaction between the brand and the user; becoming another form of engagement with the customer. This becomes a valuable way of obtaining information about our customer's desires and preferences. Therefore, we can define as a growing trend for this year: establishing a dialogue between customers, indirectly increasing sales and improving the delivery of relevant content.

Last but not least, we can talk about the trend that revolves around domain alignment and deliverability ( which we have already talked about previously in this blog ). Thus, to avoid emails sent from brands being classified as SPAM, and the truly SPAM emails being delivered successfully, brands must ensure that both the sender address and the return route match; ensuring that there is no error in either address.
